B.C. singer-songwriter Nevaeh Dyson will be returning to Char’s Landing in Port Alberni, this time with company.
Dyson and Bran Sanders are both Okanagan songwriters who will meet during their solo tours to play together at Chars Landing on Sunday, April 28.
Both artists have toured throughout the country and other corners of the world playing original songs and telling stories. Their show at Char’s Landing will be a unique collaboration between the artists. Expect plenty of conversation, original songs written by the duo, folksy covers and collaboration on each other’s tunes—not to mention plenty of acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica and mandolin playing.
Bran Sanders is an Okanagan Valley based folk singer and storyteller. With a focus on Canadian themes, Bran uses clever wordplay and wit to tell stories from both his experiences and the perspectives of fictional characters. He blends his own style with his affinity for old-time folk music into an engaging show. A performer that loves to be on stage, Bran draws in listeners with a unique voice, quirky stage presence and catchy, relatable songs.
Nevaeh Dyson is a storytelling singer/songwriter based in British Columbia. Centering her songwriting around openness and sincerity, she gives an unfiltered insight into each corner of her thoughts and experience. Inspired by artists such as Jewel, The Lumineers and Brandi Carlile, she creates an environment full of comfortable conversation.
In 2023 she toured solo from B.C. to Newfoundland and will be playing through Western Canada and the UK in 2024. With a love for acoustic folk and roots music, her songs paired with her unique playing style and powerful lyrics create her truthfully quirky and dynamic sound.
